For this week's 'Lucky Green' challenge, I created a sweet treat ... suitable for giving as a gift and wonderful to use as a favor at a party or shower!
I began with a darling Cotton Drawstring Bag onto which I adhered a length of White with Red Polka Dot Washi Tape along the bottom. Next I stamped a frame image and sentiment directly onto the fabric using the Best Wishes stamp set from Paper Sweeties. I adhered three beautiful Peppermint Iridescent Sequins onto the frame for a pop of color and to coordinate with the dots in the Washi Tape. Next I created a pretty nosegay at the top of my treat bag using Mint Green Tea Seam Binding, a paper flower from Prima and leaves cut from Corrugated Paper.
To finish this little sweet treat, I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Buff Ivory Cardstock using the Home Sweet Home stamp set, tied it onto the treat bag using Green Baker's Twine and then added a Rusty Bell to complete the design.
Please visit The Kraft Journal to be inspired by the rest of the teamies projects this week, and then I hope you'll have time to play along with this week's 'Use Green' challenge for a chance to win an awesome prize package from The Kraft Outlet shop!
Thanks for stopping by today! Hugs - xoxo
