Hello crafty friends!  So happy you stopped by for a visit today!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are enjoying this gorgeous summer so far — summer is my favorite time of the year … LOVE!!

I am sharing a little something {sweet} I recently created for this week’s challenge at The Shabby Tea Room #172 – ‘Summer Breeze’!  Starr is our creative host and she is asking us to create a card or project using the colors in the photo and add a fabric element – easy peesy 🙂

I created a yummy dessert using the Tall Ice Cream Cone Shaped Card from The Cutting Cafe!  I added a red polka dotted button on the top for the ‘cherry’ and added sparkle puff paint along the edges of the fabric covered scoops to look like sugary sprinkles!

Layers of fabric trim were adhered to the underneath of each scoop to create another layer of dimension!  I scored the pink cone to give it a realistic look and then added some pretty red twill tape ribbon tied into a sweet bow!

For the finishing touch, I stamped a sentiment using the You Are Amazing set from Paper Sweeties and then tied it onto the twill ribbon with button twine and added a shiny red jingle bell!

The perfect little summer treat for someone sweet!
