VOSP 2013 ad 2 aI am delighted to be participating in the 2013 Visions of Sugarplums Designer’s Hop again this year!  Thank you so much to my sweet friend, Lori, for inviting me!  The holidays are my favorite time of the year, like most people, so I especially enjoy creating sweet little things made of paper and glue at this time of the year … and love to give them to my family and friends!

papersweeties-debbie-12-3-13(2)For today’s project share, I was inspired by the title of this hop to create something pretty in pink!

papersweeties-debbie-12-3-13(3)I used the Make the Season Bright and Ho Ho Ho stamps sets, Make the Season Bright Sweet Cuts die and a Pink & White Chenille Candy cane to create this holiday card in an untraditional palette of hot pink, baby pink and apple green.

*NEW* December stamps & dies LIVE in the shop now!

papersweeties-debbie-12-3-13(1)Here are the rest of the stops on the hop along with a list of prizes offered today … leave comments along the way as you hop to be eligible for the yummy prizes offered each day:

Photo Inspiration #195And now, I’d like to share my projects created for this week’s new challenge at The Shabby Tea Room – ‘Terrific Tags‘!  Create something this week that includes a tag – yay!

DSCN1707I made these little favor treats for the annual holiday bunco party I hosted yesterday for my girlfriends!  We enjoyed a holiday tea party and I had one of these waiting for each of the girls at each of their place settings!

DSCN1706I used a variety of stamp sets from Paper Sweeties to create the sentiment banners:  Ho Ho Ho, Make the Season Bright, Noel and Season of Love – easy peesy!DSCN1705And then I die cut ornament shapes to use as tags on my favors and attached them to the favor wrapper!  The recipients can slide off the wrapper to enjoy the flavored coffees inside and then slide the wrapper back onto the packaging to save as a pretty little holiday decoration — cute added to a basket of holiday teas or coffees sitting on the kitchen counter or on the kitchen windowsill!

Please be sure to visit The Shabby Tea Room to be inspired by the rest of the Shabby Girls projects this week and then I hope you’ll have time to play along for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from Paper Sweeties!
