17 Jun With Love – TKJ #126!
Hello friends and welcome to The Kraft Journal #126 – ‘Felt, Twine or Burlap’! These are three of my favorite things to use when paper crafting, so it was hard to choose just one to create with!
I began with a base of White cardstock onto which I layered a piece of Indigo cardstock. Next, a piece of Brown Kraft Cardstock was embossed and inked. I added a piece of white paper doilie and then several lengths of Blue Baker’s Twine was wound around the left side. The embossed layer was adhered to the base of the card. I created a cardstock sandwich from Melon Mambo and White cardstock. A frame was stamped in Lucky Limeade using the Best Wishes stamp set and then a sentiment was stamped using Indigo ink. A Round Metal Edge Grungy Tag was added to the top of the card and then a butterfly punched from patterned paper was adhered to the ring.
Please be sure to stop by The Kraft Journal to check out the amazing inspiration projects created by the rest of the teamies … and then I hope you’ll have time to join us this week for our ‘Felt, Twine or Burlap’ challenge for your chance to win some yumminess from The Kraft Outlet Shop!
Challenges I was inspired by: CAS(E) this sketch #32 – sketch; CASE Study #145 – muse; There She Goes #212 – anything
