Hello friends and welcome to The Kraft Journal #126 – ‘Felt, Twine or Burlap’!  These are three of my favorite things to use when paper crafting, so it was hard to choose just one to create with!

Debbie TKJ #126 (2)

I began with a base of White cardstock onto which I layered a piece of Indigo cardstock.  Next, a piece of Brown Kraft Cardstock was embossed and inked.  I added a piece of white paper doilie and then several lengths of Blue Baker’s Twine was wound around the left side.  The embossed layer was adhered to the base of the card.  I created a cardstock sandwich from Melon Mambo and White cardstock.  A frame was stamped in Lucky Limeade using the Best Wishes stamp set and then a sentiment was stamped using Indigo ink.  A Round Metal Edge Grungy Tag was added to the top of the card and then a butterfly punched from patterned paper was adhered to the ring.

Debbie TKJ #126 (1)Please be sure to stop by The Kraft Journal to check out the amazing inspiration projects created by the rest of the teamies … and then I hope you’ll have time to join us this week for our ‘Felt, Twine or Burlap’ challenge for your chance to win some yumminess from The Kraft Outlet Shop!

Challenges I was inspired by:  CAS(E) this sketch #32 – sketch; CASE Study #145 – muse;  There She Goes #212 – anything

  1. I love the shabby feel of this card. The background embossing & inking is beautiful! Thanks for playing along at CASE Study this week!
