15 Jun Paper Sweeties | June 2017 Release Party!
Hello crafty friends — welcome to the June 2017 *NEW* product RELEASE PARTY here at Paper Sweeties! I hope you were inspired yesterday by the sneak peek projects the Design Teamies and I shared! If you missed yesterday’s festivities, click –> HERE <– to check out all the creativity! Before we get to my projects for today, let’s meet the newest kids on the block this month … and we literally have a NEW GIRL with long hair in our sweet line up – by customer request:
Oval Scallop Frames Sweet Cuts

And now for my RELEASE DAY inspiration projects (CLICK on photos for larger views) …
I had so much fun dressing adorable little Madison in her new summer outfit!!! I stamped Maddy on vanilla cardstock and then die cut her using the coordinating Madison Sweet Cuts die! I stamped the outfit from the Aloha set first onto white cardstock, then onto the pink gingham patterned paper, cut the pieces out and then paper pieced everything together! I … LOVE … TO … PAPER … PIECE!!!
The sentiment was stamped from the Aloha stamp set onto a banner die cut using the Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts set and then double mounted on another scrap piece of aqua cardstock. Maddy was adhered to a cardstock background using the *NEW* Oval Scallop Frames Sweet Cuts set! To finish things off, I added a couple drops of liquid pearls in the center of the flowers!
For my second card, I began with Madison which I die cut using the Madison Sweet Cuts die and then dressed her in her bathing suit outfit from the At the beach stamp set. I die cut the cardstock background using the Oval Scallop Frames Sweet Cuts set and die cut the sun using the Island Time Sweet Cuts set, embossing it with a polka dot folder. The sentiment was stamped using the Aloha set and I finished the card off by adding a couple Marshmallow Sequins and liquid pearls to the centers of the flowers.
