My sweet friend, Joscie, created this absolutely adorable card using the Abigail and Mahalo! stamp sets from Paper Sweeties!  Joscie lives in Hawaii and I am over the moon with the little Polynesian-inspired girl she has created ... complete with turquoise earrings and a Hibiscus flower behind her ear -- just TOO sweet -- LOVE this to pieces!!!

joscelyncutchens(2)The second card Joscelyn created is so darling and spring-y!  Joscie used the Happy Fall Ya'll and Mahalo! stamp sets along with a length of Mint Green Tea seam binding on this card.  I love those white puffy clouds and pretty patterned papers!

Hi crafty friends!  I’m popping in today to share the second card I created for the current challenge over at the Seize The Birthday challenge blog!  The sweet ladies at Seize The Birthday asked if I would sponsor their challenges for the first two weeks in April and guest design too!  Of course, I said yes to both!

Let it SNOW … in April?

Hello all ... I  hope you're having a perfectly wonderful spring day!  It's beautiful here - temps in the 80's, gorgeous blue sky, windows open, birds chirping -- LOVE!

I wanted to pop in quick to share a little something I recently created for my April GDT spot over at Flourishes.  Although this card was created using 90% items from the Flourishes shop, I did manage to stamp the alpha sentiment using the Paper Sweeties Fancy Monograms stamp set ... I adore this pretty set -- so versatile -- you can use it on ANY project!

Sweetness x 10 – TKJ #116!

Hello crafty friends!  I'm here today to share a card I made for the current challenge at The Kraft Journal #116 - 'Tag You're It'!

Debbie TKJ #116 (1)

I began with a base of Lunch Bag Kraft Card Stock and then layered a piece of Buff Ivory Card Stock.  Next, a piece of Kraft & Black Card Stock was added and two lengths of Music Note Washi Tape was adhered along the sides.  A machine zig-zag stitch was sewn around all edges.

Debbie TKJ #116 (2)

A piece of Vintage Keys Twill Ribbon was adhered around the middle of the card and then a Small Glassine Bag was stitched onto the base.  A pretty paper bloom was attached along with  leaves cut from a Mini Burlap Rectangle and a Vintage Keys Twill Ribbon bow.  A piece of music note flair I received from my friend, Joscelyn, was adhered to the center of the bloom.

 Debbie TKJ #116 (3)

Last, sentiments were stamped onto a Small Kraft Shipping Tag using the Banner Wishes and You Are Amazing stamp sets from Paper Sweeties and then a snipett of Black Burlap Ribbon was attached to the top of the tag.

Debbie TKJ #116 (4)Please be sure to visit The Kraft Journal to check out the inspiration from the amazingly talented design teamies ... and then I hope you'll give the 'Tag You're It' challenge a try this week for a chance to win some awesomeness from The Kraft Outlet Shop!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Spring Joy … TSTR #161!

Hello sweeties and welcome!  I'm popping in today to share a project I recently designed for The Shabby Tea Room #161 - 'Shabby Spring'!  Rebecca is our creative host and she has chosen this lovely photo for our inspiration this week ...

Photo Inspiration #161

... and Rebecca asks that we create a card or project inspired by the COLORS and THEME of the photo and make it SHABBY!

Debbie TSTR #161 (3)I designed a 3-D topiary birdhouse using a gorgeous vintage birdhouse image from Digital Papers by Janet Etsy!  I included a text piece of flair from my friend, Joscelyn's shop for the house peep hole!  I made a little next using some spanish moss I collected from a golf course in Florida -- my hubby and sons were golfing and I was collecting goodies from nature to craft with!

Debbie TSTR #161 (4)The little blue robin eggs are berries from the craft store, a twig from my yard, celery green leaf stick pins from Flourishes and a bird punched from text paper!

Debbie TSTR #161 (5)I created a shabby bow using Lacey Blueberry and Vintage Winter White tea-stained seam binding from the shoppe ... and stamped the sentiment for the tag using the Jelly Bean Time stamp set.  The sentiment was then adhered onto a pink vintage tape strip from Janet's shop.

Debbie TSTR #161 (2)

I adore creating spring themed projects -- it's such a wonderful time of the year!  Everything is new and fresh and anticipation is high for summer time to approach -- picnics, trips to the lake, beach vacations, fireworks, family fun!

Please be sure to hop on over to The Shabby Tea Room to check out the other Shabby Girls beautiful projects this week!  We hope you'll have time to play along with our 'Shabby Spring' challenge for a chance to win some yummy goodies from Digital Papers By Janet Etsy!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Inspired by these challenges:  The Ribbon Carousel #80 - showers and flowers; Tuesday Throwdown #141 - 2 colors/2 things that start with 'T' (pink/blue; tag/twine); Really Reasonable Ribbons #69 - buttons & bows; Catered Crop - twine
